Does anyone know of a web-site or archive that has information on re-building the battery pack for a PowerBook 170? I understand that they are standard-sized NiCad's inside, and I'd like to give it a try. -Rob
Martin almost immediately replied:
I posted detailed instructions for 100-series Powerbook battery rebuilding on
several occasions... I'll go see if I can find the complete set, which I think I have
archived. If there is interest in this subject (the same techniques apply to any
rechargeable battery packs), I'll be happy to re-post this guide wherever anyone is
generous enough to host it. Anyone with a website/FTP/server who can post this small
file?
